Chicago, Chicago!

 I had always thought that the hot house of 60s and 70s American graphics was exclusively New York based. Not the case. My good friend Fernando Gutierrez made me aware of one John Massey whose home, and creative heartland, was Chicago. Fernando had heard a talk between Art Kane and  Massimo Vignelli , while on a recent AGI jamboree. They  put everyone present on the right tracks, in terms of the who's who in US design history.
