My morning stroll

I live a short walk from Exmouth Market in London's Clerkenwell. It's a very lively little place and it has change enormously during the ten years I've been here.

Until recently this was part of the landscape...

Banksy

on the corner of Roseberry Avenue. It's by Banksy of course. But it now looks like this...

Covered_2

This is what happens when a street artist becomes a commercial commodity - A pity.

And this was pasted up this morning...

2012
It made me chuckle.

That Olympic pastiche is brilliant. Now it seems bizarre that it's taken someone so long to do that. Very funny. Thanks.

I'm thinking that cover could actually be another Damien Hirst/Banksy collaboration, like this http://www.supertouchart.com/2008/02/14/art-commercedamien-hirst-x-banksy-painting-fetches-18-mil/
